Tricolor Caribbean Blue Tree of Life Pendant

This handcrafted wire tree of life pendant is hand wire wrapped in a tarnish resistant silver plated wire and features three stunning blue faceted rondelles in blue aquamarine, apatite and London blue mystic topaz. It forms a gradient or ombre of Caribbean blues ranging from a pale, icy blue through a teal or aqua blue and into a dark, rich blue.

The colors remind me of a tropical sea or the Caribbean ocean. The way the water has all those varying tones of teal, aqua and dark blue. I don’t normally have three strands of coordinating faceted gemstone rondelles on hand but I had these three at the same time due to a custom order. There was just enough left over of each of the three gems to make this OOAK tree.

I almost didn’t want to list it because I just loved it so much myself! 😉

All of my trees are handcrafted from scratch, using painstaking wire wrapping techniques. I form the outer frame and then sculpt the tree’s roots, trunk and branches. Then, I add each individual gem by hand in a precise order to achieve this ombre look, positioning the stones and branches just so.

Each tree is also hand hammered to give it added strength to hold it’s shape for years of wear and enjoyment.

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and is known as the “water of the sea” and has been used for centuries by sailors to protect them on the water. Apatite is said to be an inspirational stone aiding in communication and self-expression. Blue Topaz is a birthstone for December and said to be a symbol of love and affection, said to aid in improving a person’s sweetness and disposition. London Blue is the darkest of all the blue topaz colors.
